Cynthia Hanley, Practice Manager
With over 12 years of experience in the dental field, Cynthia brings warmth, professionalism, and a welcoming presence to our front office. As one of the first faces patients see when they walk through the door, she is dedicated to making every visit smooth, comfortable, and stress-free.
Cynthia manages the daily operations of the practice, with a focus on patient communication and insurance coordination. She takes pride in helping patients understand and navigate their insurance policies and benefits, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.
A proud member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM), Cynthia is committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards. Her dedication to excellence helps maintain an efficient, patient-centered environment.
Outside of the office, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and being outdoors as much as possible – who doesn’t love a good farmers market or street fest!
Cynthia is proud to be a part of the Park Ridge Smile Center team and is passionate about providing a friendly, supportive atmosphere for every patient who walks through our doors.
Vanessa Garcia, Patient Care Coordinator
As Patient Care Coordinator Vanessa is the first friendly voice you’ll hear when calling our office and is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and positive experience from start to finish. She handles everything from scheduling appointments and explaining treatment plans and costs, to verifying insurance and helping with financial arrangements. Known for her helpful and friendly nature, she loves making patients feel comfortable and cared for.
In her free time, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her 7- and 2-year-old boys.
Olivia, Registered Dental Hygienist
With over 15 years in the dental field, Olivia pairs expertise with a big heart. Her friendly, down-to-earth vibe helps patients feel comfortable the moment they sit in the chair. She’s all about prevention, education and making sure every smile gets the care it deserves.
A proud member of the American Dental Hygienist’s Association, Olivia stays on top of the latest techniques and tools through ongoing education.
When she’s not at the office, you’ll find her outdoors boating , hiking and spending time with her husband Michael, fur babies and family. She can’t wait to help you smile brighter!
Artiola Toplana, Dental Assistant
Artiola is our friendly and talented dental assistant. Our patients and team know her as Arti for short. For the past 6 years, she has worked alongside Dr. Thomas, ensuring all of our patients have a smooth and positive dental experience.
Working with Dr. Thomas has enabled her to pursue her love of dentistry and continue her career in dental hygiene. Arti believes “there is no greater reward than seeing a patient leave the office with a beaming smile.”
Arti grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She loves to travel and is passionate about seeing the world but truly believes there is no place like home.
